Obituary for Chad "Truck" P. Smith

SMITH, Chad “Truck” – of Montrose, age 46, died September 6, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11AM, Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Pastor Aaron Frey officiating. Burial to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1PM until 8PM and on Thursday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family’s Go Fund Me page for funeral expenses, www.gofundme.com/funeral-for-truck.

Chad was born February 14, 1972 in Saginaw, Michigan to Dennis and Lorena (Wolverton) Smith. He married Kimberly Goddard on November 7, 1992 in Montrose. Chad worked for Monro Auto Service as an ASE Certified Master Mechanic. He enjoyed playing guitar in his band, Bacchus Symposium. Chad also enjoyed hunting, shooting guns, and riding his motorcycle. Above all, he cherished spending time with friends and family.

Surviving are: Wife, Kimberly Smith; Sons: Zachary Smith and Lucas Smith; Mother, Lorena Smith; Brother, Dennis (Julie) Smith, and many nieces and nephews.
