Obituary for Robert W. Taylor

TAYLOR, Robert W. – of Oscoda, formerly of Clio, age 75, died Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at St. Mary’s in Saginaw. Funeral services will be held 11AM, Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor John Backes officiating. Cremation to follow. Military honors will be conducted under the direction of VFW Post #1452. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 2PM until 8PM and on Tuesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM.

Robert was born March 29, 1943 in Flint, Michigan to the late Clarence and Cecilia (Gibson) Taylor. He graduated from Bentley High School. Robert completed his training as a journeyman linesman for electrical companies. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp for 4 years. Robert worked in and out of the state, and even Saudi Arabia for numerous corporations as an electrical lineman. He also owned and operated B&L Enterprises. Robert enjoyed taking hikes, playing his guitar, fishing, and driving around listening to music. Most of all, he loved to play in local Euchre tournaments in the area.

Surviving are: Children: Tahlia Marie Taylor, Andrew Wesley Taylor, and Amy Lynn Taylor; Grandchildren: Corey Taylor, Sebastian Taylor, Zachary Taylor, and Aiden Taylor; 1 great grandchild, and sister, Denise (Dave) Marrow.
