Obituary for Stephen Puterbaugh

PUTERBAUGH, Stephen Everette- of Birch Run, age 79, died Sunday, April 8, 2018 at his home. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 12, 2018 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Entombment in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 1-8 PM and on Thursday from 10AM until time of service at 11AM at the funeral home in Clio. Memorial contributions can be made to the family for future designation.

Stephen was born July 24, 1938 in Flint, Michigan to the late Ivan and Rosalind (Duffing) Puterbaugh. He grew up in Flint and graduated from Kearsley High School with the class of 1956. Stephen served his country in the US Navy from 1960 to 1968. On November 24, 1970 he married Martha Ann Tucker in Mt. Morris, Michigan. Prior to his retirement in 1998 he worked for GM for 26 years. He was a member of Saint Francis and Clare Parish and the UAW Local 651. Stephen enjoyed photography and spending time with his family.

Surviving are: Wife, Martha; Children, Demerise (Jason) Rodgers, Eric Puterbaugh; Grandson, Nicholas Rodgers. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Sister, Roberta Ann Puterbaugh; 2 Aunts, Louise Lane and Margaret Duffing; Cousin, Patrick Lane.
